Hey everyone! We will be meeting again this Sunday at 5pm for worship in the Anglican tradition. The readings for this week are:
Hope to see you there!
Just an update to share that Christus Victor will not be meeting this Sunday evening as I will be out of town. Really sorry for any inconveniences. The plan is to meet regularly every Sunday evening with this weekend only being an anomaly. I ask all in the CV community to be in prayer and meditation this weekend for all of the chaos that is happening around the world. Despite not meeting, we can still be in communion with each other through our spiritual practice.
For those interested in keeping with the Lectionary, the readings for this Sunday are:
Love and peace to all of you today,

We will be meeting this Sunday for worship at 5PM and will be praying together for John and his family as they are in the midst of a move across the ocean! Looking forward to it and hope to see you there!
Join us this Sunday for worship! This will be John Frederick’s last Sunday at Christus Victor before he and his family head overseas to Australia. Worship gatherings will be continuing regularly under the spiritual direction of the leadership team each Sunday evening. All are welcome.

Here are the readings for tonight, Sunday Sept 10th 2017.
*Just a note John Frederick’s last evening at Christus Victor will be Sept 17th, next week. After that we’ll continue to gather as normally scheduled under the leadership of a team of folks. John’s going to be taking up a new post teaching New Testament in Australia. He’s planning on planting a sister Christus Victor plant in Brisbane.
Join us for our normal weekly gathering @ 5pm in the Baptist Church next to GCU.
If you’re new to the church, or new to Phoenix (perhaps a GCU or ASU student), come join us! We’re looking to continue to gather a core group of 30-40 committed members of this plant. We’ve been so blessed to meet so many who have been a blessing to us over the past year. We look forward to working together in new and deeper ways to be a place of spiritual warmth and peace in the Gospel for all people.
